Our Mission
Our Mission
When women lead, the world gets better for everyone. That's why we exist.
When women lead, the world gets better for everyone. That's why we exist.
We give women who are tackling the hardest problems in social and environmental impact the coaching, community, and practical skills to lead with confidence. With that support, they trust their own instincts and turn their ideas into tangible change, in their own communities and beyond.

What our graduates are saying

My WIA experience was transformative. As my confidence grew, I stepped into my full leadership and brought new ideas to our senior leadership. As a result, the initiatives I lead are having an even greater impact on the lives of women and families in Afghanistan.
Simin Wahdat | USA | Afghanistan
Senior Officer, Programs & Partnership

What our graduates are saying

I learned to listen to my gut instinct, stay true to my north star, and move with purpose instead of a chicken with my head cut off. I know where I am going now, and the steps I need to take to get there.

What our graduates are saying

When I stepped into the Executive Director role at Watsi, the Empowered Leader Program gave me the coaching and clarity I needed to find my voice in a pivotal new chapter. Six years later, the community I found through WIA is still one I turn to over and over again.
